Version 1.0 · Updated October 21, 2026 · Effective on first public release
Important: content rights and responsibility
AnytimePlay is a general-purpose player and file tool, not a provider of film or television content. Pay particular attention to the provisions on lawful use, prohibited conduct, infringement notices, file operations and responsibility. Contact us below if you need an explanation.
The ability to import, identify, play, download or cast a file does not establish permission to obtain, copy, distribute, publicly exhibit or otherwise use a work. These terms grant no rights to third-party films, music, subtitles, posters or other works and do not exclude responsibilities that we cannot lawfully exclude.
1. Operator and service scope
These terms apply to AnytimePlay for iPhone and iPad (bundle identifier com.kewoku.AVDeck), provided by Xinxiang Kewoku Software Development Co., Ltd. The App provides media playback, file viewing, library organization, and operations on local files and remote locations you configure.
The App does not include films, TV channels, a film-sharing catalog, indexes for obtaining films or preset download sources. We do not operate a platform for users to publish films to the public. You select or import files or access servers and media addresses you configure. Protocol and format compatibility is not our recommendation, authorization or endorsement of a source.
2. Lawful acquisition and use
Obtain, access, play, cache, copy, download, cast, share or process content only within a rights holder’s permission, a valid public-domain basis or another basis permitted by applicable law. You need not own the copyright, but must consider whether the particular use complies with territorial, time, device, audience, purpose and other license restrictions.
Possessing a file, public availability, payment for storage or a network service, personal use, or technical decodability does not by itself establish that acquisition or use is lawful. Exceptions for private viewing, copying, teaching or research depend on the facts and applicable law; these terms do not make a universal determination.
If you know or have reasonable grounds to suspect that a source is unauthorized, stop the relevant acquisition, copying or distribution and verify through the rights holder or another lawful channel. Guardians should provide age-appropriate lawful content and supervise minors.
3. Prohibited infringement and circumvention
Do not use the App to copy, upload, distribute, sell, rent, publicly exhibit or make others’ works available to the public without permission or another lawful basis. Do not organize, induce or assist the use of pirated sources, infringing links, unlawful subscriptions or unauthorized accounts and services.
Do not unlawfully circumvent DRM, encrypted access controls, paid-access checks or other effective copyright-protection measures, or unlawfully remove, falsify or modify rights-management information. Entering a password you lawfully possess or decoding a standard format is not our grant of permission to circumvent protection. Rights to research, interoperability or other exceptions provided by law are not unlawfully restricted by these terms.
Do not use our name, icon, descriptions, interface or support to promote infringing sources or imply our endorsement, authorization or guarantee of a source. We do not provide specialized circumvention, acquisition or distribution assistance for specific uses we know or should know are infringing.
4. Remote sources, artwork and third-party rights
A remote service you configure may separately require an account, access permission and content authorization. Follow its rules; connectivity does not authorize every file on a server. Remote writes, downloads, casting and sharing follow your choices and the permissions of the server and receiving device and may create additional copies.
The library can display artwork, subtitles and other local material you supply and are entitled to use. It does not provide online film-information or poster matching. Third-party titles, marks, subtitles and artwork remain with their rights holders; displaying them does not establish affiliation, endorsement or authorization. We remain responsible for applicable duties of care and action concerning third-party services and display content actually under our control.
5. Copyright notices, review and action
Rights holders or authorized agents may email privacy@kewoku.com with “AnytimePlay Copyright Notice” in the subject. Include: (1) your name or entity and reply contact; (2) the work and basis of rights or agency; (3) information accurately locating the alleged infringing page, displayed material, link or feature; and (4) initial evidence and a statement that the notice is truthful and accurate. Do not send unrelated private media, passwords or access tokens. Additional information should be supplied only where reasonably necessary for verification or required by law.
We will promptly assess a notice, request reasonable clarification where needed, and take necessary measures appropriate to the initial evidence, service, actual control and applicable law. For content or links under our control, measures may include removal, stopping display, disconnecting relevant access or adjusting the affected service. We will forward notices or cooperate with competent authorities where legally required. Affected parties may provide authorization, evidence of misidentification or another non-infringement basis; subsequent action or restoration will be assessed under applicable law.
We cannot remotely inspect, review or delete files located only on user devices or controlled by third-party servers they choose, and cannot promise remote deletion of those files. We will explain those limits accurately and provide feasible assistance required by law. These limits do not remove duties to take necessary action where we know or should know of infringement. Notices and objections must be truthful and in good faith; liability for erroneous or malicious notices is determined by applicable law.
6. File operations, credentials and availability
Compression, extraction, copying, renaming, movement, upload, download, replacement and deletion may change local or remote files; deletion may be irreversible. Check destinations, permissions and confirmations, back up important content and protect access credentials.
Damaged files, encoding or protection measures, network conditions, device capabilities and third-party server limits may affect playback and operations. We maintain the software and address defects as required by law, but do not promise that every format, protected work or third-party service will always be available. This paragraph does not exclude statutory quality, safety, repair, remedy or other rights.
7. Software licenses and responsibility
When the App is obtained through the App Store, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement and relevant store rules apply. These terms supplement the rules for content and file use without restricting mandatory rights under Apple’s agreement or applicable law. Open-source components retain their respective licenses, available in the App’s open-source notices. Processing files does not transfer intellectual-property rights in their content to us.
Each party is legally responsible for its own conduct. Responsibility depends on the facts, fault, causation and applicable law; user-supplied files or a general-purpose tool do not automatically exempt the operator. Property loss caused by intent or gross negligence, personal injury, statutory consumer protections and other non-excludable liabilities are not excluded or limited.
These terms do not impose unconditional, unlimited indemnification, transfer our own unlawful conduct or fault to users, or restrict lawful complaints, defenses, court proceedings or remedies.
8. Local laws, updates and contact
These terms choose the laws of the People’s Republic of China without depriving you of consumer protection or other rights that cannot be excluded by agreement under the law of your habitual residence or other applicable law. Parties may seek an amicable resolution, but this is not a prerequisite to lawful complaints or relief before a competent court. If a provision is invalid, the remaining lawful provisions continue to the extent permitted by law.
Revisions update the version and date. For material changes affecting rights, we will give reasonable advance notice, provide explanations and obtain consent where required by applicable law. Material adverse changes will not be applied retroactively without required notice. Chinese and English versions are intended to express equivalent rules; ambiguities are handled under applicable law, including rules governing standard terms.
