Data & Permissions

From App 1.2.0, advertising starts only after you accept the in-app Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. There is no separate first-run advertising switch. Advertising consent is not withdrawn separately: to stop advertising, withdraw the overall privacy consent under My → Settings → About & Privacy → Privacy & Legal → Privacy Choices → Withdraw privacy consent.

Withdrawal stops new ad requests, clears advertising caches managed by the App and returns the App to the agreement screen. It does not automatically erase information already processed by advertising providers; use their rights channels for access or deletion requests. Deleting all on-device data remains available and also stops advertising.

Using IDFA or other cross-app tracking capabilities requires iOS App Tracking Transparency permission, which you can grant or refuse in system settings (Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking). Accepting the in-app agreements is not permission to track, and refusing tracking does not prevent you from using the App.

Where required for your region, Google's consent message and privacy options are presented through the App; the same Privacy Choices page opens them again when needed.

Notifications, Reminders, camera, photo selection, files, and tracking permission are controlled by iOS. You can review why each one is requested, when, and what happens if you refuse on the Permissions page.

Privacy Choices can delete all on-device App data: baby profiles, care records and their photos, preferences, the temporary pre-restore backup, and pending App notifications. Exported backup files and any Apple device backup are not deleted by that action and must be managed where they are stored.

You can withdraw privacy consent without deleting existing data. The App cancels the reminders it can remove and does not reopen its main features until you consent again. Already recorded data remains on the device until you delete it or uninstall the App.

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Contact privacy@kewoku.com. Because we hold no server copy of your baby profiles or care records, we cannot remotely view, export, recover, or delete device-only data; we will provide on-device instructions and the App's export tools instead. We may need to verify your relationship to the data before acting on a request.
