Product features

Files, archives, and media in one local tool.

UnzipDeck handles the everyday file work on iPhone, iPad, and Mac without sending anything off the device.

ARCHIVES

Common archive formats

Create zip, 7z, tar, tar.gz, tar.bz2, tar.xz, tar.zst, gz, bz2, xz, and zst. Read and extract zip (including zip64 and legacy GBK filenames), 7z, rar (RAR3/4/5 with encrypted archives, encrypted headers, and multi-volume sets), the tar family, iso, cab, lha, xar, cpio, ar, lz4, lzma, and more. Enter and remember a password for encrypted archives, work with split volumes and nested archives, verify an extraction, and optionally delete the source archive after a successful extraction.

FILE MANAGEMENT

Organize files like on a computer

Browse folders, select multiple items, copy, move, rename (including batches), delete, import and export, and receive dropped files. UnzipDeck works with the system Files app, so you can also open and handle an archive directly from Files.

MEDIA & PREVIEW

Open what you extracted

The built-in player offers a system engine or a VLC engine; subtitles, playback speed, Picture in Picture, and AirPlay come from the system or the playback engine. Images and PDFs get thumbnails, and QuickLook is available for a quick preview. Appearance includes 8 preset theme colors and system, light, or dark mode.

Data handling

Your files stay on your device.

Files, archives, and playback history are processed and stored on your device only. UnzipDeck has no account, no cloud upload, no advertising, no third-party analytics SDK, and no tracking or profiling. The app stores preferences locally and keeps playback progress and history in a local database.
